Jaco Beach is in the Central Pacific tourist zone 2 hours from San Jose and Costa Rica's principal international airport. Jaco Beach Village (the Village) consists of 15 condo units of 1 bedroom and 1 bath, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and 3 bedrooms with 2 ½ baths. The developers live at Jaco Beach Village. The architectural style is Mediterranean with definite Spanish colonial overtones. Exterior walls of the buildings are a subdued yellow offset by red tile roofs. Attractive tropical landscaping and paths lead to each building and the swimming pool with Jacuzzi and ranchito. The guard's casita is next to the main entrance with 24-hour guard service. The entire common area is lit at night and protected by discretely placed sensors. 25 m from the entrance on Calle Barahona is the Jaco Beach Village management and vacation rental office. In the same building is a surfing shop offering surfboard sales and repairs, tours and instruction.
